My way Verses HIS way!

God has a PURPOSE for all of our lives, but some times life will throw us all kind of curve balls intentionally and unintentionally and that can distract us from His Will. However, it's His intentions that we all find our calling and discover WHOSE we are, WHO we are, and WHY we were created.

I recently was in a season where I was seeking God for my purpose and identity and I learned so much. In that season I discovered plenty of gifts I never knew I had! I even realized things I liked and disliked. I discovered talents about me that needed sharpening and my areas of weakness. During that season I founded Table Talk With Key, and my initial purpose was to help mothers become better stewards over everything God had given them. But the vision changed. Can someone say, BUT CHILE WHAT HAPPEN!??

Ladies,🤦‍♀️ I started but during the process I got a taste of other talents of mine and I thought maybe this is what He really want me to do. LOL!!🤣 Seriously, I mean I changed the entire focus to publishing books and helping authors. I knew for sure this must be it!! Can someone say, BUT GOD!! I started to get frustrated and noticed I liked it, but didn't love it the way I loved helping others in ministry. Even though it was a way of ministry to all of my clients because y'ALL know your girl preached to them. It just was NOT the same! I had to get to a place of being worn out and wanting to call it quits!! I went to God fussing and He was like my child, my burden is easy and my yoke is light. You are carrying things I never told you to carry!

So, do you see the difference in a GOOD idea and a GOD idea? It was good and I still plan on helping others but it is no longer my main focus. My main focus is HIS plan and will. When we are outside of that it leaves us heavy and burden. But He give us joy and peace!

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
